What happens when a girl [adult woman] attempts to find out who her father is, because her twenties have lead to one too many a hard days night and she’s starting to think he’s an American idiot? She realizes that love isn’t a battlefield, it’s a Journey; and you must never “stop believin’” in your dreams.* Witness a young(ish) girl navigate love and daddy issues, along with her showbiz ambitions in this musical about love, loss and what was on MTV!
Since being in NYC Helene has graced many an Off-Broadway and Regional stage.  Exposed to the world of downtown Cabaret, Helene quickly fell in love and performed several Cabaret shows including “I Like Vain People” and “Hate is the New Love.”  Ms. Ellford has developed an impressive list of theatrical credits that range from ditzy blonde to slutty blonde. She currently resides in New York and also divides her time between Los Angeles and Rockville, MD.  She is thrilled to contribute to the NYC Cabaret Festival and the fight for equality, and performs in honor of her fabulous friends without whom none of this is possible. Literally.  They wrote this bio.  ;)
