This cabaret takes the position that whom you choose to sing is a political choice: it makes an argument about your values and priorities, it includes or excludes. It is significant. In “Inflammatory Writ,” I have invited some of my favorite musicians, both women and men, to help me celebrate female songwriters. We sing with pride and vitality, featuring artists as diverse as Joanna Newsom, Tegan and Sara, and Jazmine Sullivan. Our aim is to empower, to elevate, to be effusive when it comes to the value of women in our society and in our cultural voice. We hope you’ll join us!

In love, & light -
